On replacement and installation work, yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. If you are calling about something broken, that is a service call, and you will get that price up front too.
Whenever both are options. Our rule of thumb is that if a repair costs more than about a third of a new system and the unit is past 12 to 15 years, you deserve to see both numbers and make the call yourself.
No, and a customer left us a public review specifically saying so after collecting three bids. Rebates are real money, but they should come off an honest number, not off one padded to make the discount look impressive.
